LAND

We are seeking land off the Coast of Northern California preferably in West Marin in California.  We would prefer land that we could put signage up to let people know we are there and to come in and visit.  I know this is a tall order, but you never know. We can offer a tax deduction after we gain nonprofit status or if you are interested in a for profit partnership, the Cafe and B&B will have possibilities for making your money back since those portions of the project will fall under a B-Corporation for profit.  In either case, your land will be appreciate and used for a good cause

FUNDING

​Assuming nobody hands us land, we need to buy land to make this all happen.  Currently, Possums Welcome is in the process of seeking non profit status for the sanctuary portion of this goal so by the end of this year, your donation will be tax deductible.  Additionally, because there is a Cafe and B&B involved in this vision, there is the possibility that the Cafe and B&B portion may become a B-Corporation, so there are investment possibilities here as well.  Let us know if you are interested.

CONTACTS & LEADS

So you might not have the land or the money to share, but you might know somebody who knows somebody who has land that has just been sitting there and might be open to this idea.  This is a project which will take talent.  You might know somebody in the real estate industry who knows about the land use laws in a certain county or who can share some tips in certain localities.  We would love to explore these contacts and leads that you have to bring us one step closer to making this vision a reality.
